Based at Hamble Point, our top quality charter fleet is well placed for weekend and longer charters of the Solent, south coast, Normandy, Brittany, the Channel Islands and beyond. All of the yachts in our charter fleet are comprehensively equipped and conform to the latest charter yacht standards laid down by the Department of Transport "Code of Practice for Sail Training and Charter vessels".

We pride ourselves on the high standard to which our charter fleet is maintained, and we are only too happy for you to inspect any of our charter yachts before booking.

If you do not have the necessary experience required to charter a yacht we can supply one of our professional Yachtmaster / Instructors to come along and show you the ropes.

In line with our high safety standards, we require skippers who charter to be qualified to undertake the type of charter passage they are planning. Official RYA qualifications are always acceptable, but if you are not so qualified, one of our senior staff will be available to discuss your verifiable sailing experience. BOSS reserves the right to take intending charterers for a trial sail to establish the extent of their experience.
