Yachting
TV |
We are really pleased to be extending our
association with the
innovative Yachting TV. Peter Ellis, our Principal has been busy working with
YTV's Steve Adams to produce a series of short video tutorials
on boat handling. Each piece will be 8 - 10 minutes long
enabling viewers to pick up lots of bite sized tips on how to
moor a yacht. The
monthly online magazine covers the latest yachting issues and every month you
will be able to see BOSS Instructors giving hints and tips to help improve your sailing

Despite a very busy start to the
season, Pete Ellis, the School Principal is still managing to get out on the
water with our team of instructors. Paul Evans (now in Spain), Nick Wood
Tim Whitehouse and Karen Bosman have all learned lots of new tricks
to pass onto course students. Which ever courses you decide to do
this year, we are sure that you will get the very best instruction
from the team.

60 Mile
Offshore Passages |
Due to demand, this summer, we are
introducing a series of passage making cruises for those who would
like to build up their mileage including 60 mile Yachtmaster
skippered passages. Full details will be out shortly. In the

Having completed another
Atlantic circuit, Ocean Wanderer is now out of the water and
undergoing a refit in preparation for her departure for Spain,
the Canaries and the Sunny Caribbean at the end of August. Paul Chedd,
who sailed all the way from Hamble having completed 4 ocean
passages in Ocean Wanderer and sailed the length and breadth of the
Caribbean is now back in the Solent running five day RYA
courses. He will be taking his Yachtmaster Instructor course
later in the year and after completing around 20,000 miles
this year deserves a well earned "rest" running Yachtmaster
exam preparation courses.
If you want to get away from the winter weather
in the UK, we
still have spaces aboard Ocean Wanderer in
Spain, the
Canaries and the
Caribbean as well as on
Ocean passages from the;
UK to North West Spain,
Galicia to the Canaries,
Antigua to the Azores,
and Azores back to the UK.
