12 Days Brittany Cruise

Arrival: Evening - Arrive at Hamble Point Marina - Introduction to yacht. Safety briefing. Explanation to where everything is kept. Passage planning and discussion about the cruise ahead.
20:00 Ashore for a drink, bite to eat and get to know the Skipper and other people on the cruise. Sleep aboard the yacht.
Day One:  
  Wake up - Early Start. Preparation, weather update and deck briefing. Depart the Solent for Poole or Weymouth. Practice: Conventional and electronic navigation. Course to steer, Estimated positions, collision avoidance, coastal passage making and pilotage techniques. Moor up.
Day Two:  
  Early start Move off towards Camaret sur Mer via Chenal du Four  - practice offshore navigation, Traffic Separation Scheme routine, collision avoidance and watch keeping. Sail overnight
Day Three:  
  Arrive in Camaret Sur Mer rest and explore ashore
Day Four:  
  Wake up and have breakfast, wander ashore and visit port of Camaret sur Mer Sail from Camaret to L'aberwrach  including close quarters pilotage through Chenal du Four - Overnight mooring in L'aberwrach. Passage planning for the following day.
Day Five:  
  Wake up and have breakfast, sail to Morlaix and anchor overnight
Day Six:  
  Wake up and have breakfast. Sail to Tréguier and moor up in town.
Day Seven:  
  Wake up and have leisurely breakfast, wander ashore. Sail from Tréguier to Léziardieux - via inshore passages if weather is suitable. Moor up in town, explore ashore
Day Eight:  
  Early morning sail from Léziardieux to Saint-Quay-Portrieux. Moor up in Marina and spend the afternoon ashore.
Day Nine:  
  Offshore sail to the Channel Islands - Anchor at Rosiere steps off the Island of Herm. Overnight at anchor.
Day Ten:  
  Wake up, breakfast - row ashore and visit the Island of Herm. Close pilotage across to Peters Port, Guernsey. Afternoon ashore
Day Eleven:  
  Wake up and have leisurely breakfast, wander ashore. Late afternoon - Passage planning and preparation for night sail back across the Channel. Evening meal onboard - depart on overnight Cross Channel passage - Watch keeping
Day Twelve:  
  Arrive off the Needles early hours of the morning in time to catch the flood tide up the Solent back to Hamble Point. Pack up, Clean up, debrief, logbooks and depart
