A full range of RYA and specialist shore based yachting courses are available at our dedicated customised training facilities at Hamble. Courses for both the professional and leisure yachtsman can be followed either individually or as part of a structured training package.

Tuition in navigation starts with the RYA Day Skipper shore based course. If you have a basic knowledge on navigation, tides, rules of the road and safety then the RYA Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster shore based course offers the ideal opportunity to prepare for your MCA Certificate of Competency.

These courses may also be followed at home by enrolling on a distance learning programme.

Ocean Yachtmaster theory course teaches celestial navigation to those who aspire to cross an ocean or in preparation for the MCA Ocean Yachtmaster exam.

Also on offer are shorter VHF, First Aid, Sea Survival, Radar and Diesel Engine maintenance courses as well as our specialist BOSS Weather at Sea course.
